Stamp Club Pics

Hi, ladies. I finally got time to upload the pics from the February Stamp Club meeting. Our exchange card theme this month was "Wild Card," i.e., do your own thing. For some reason, a lot of them were Valentines! LOL

Jeannie couldn't make it, but she sent her project with Helen and me, a lovely embossed copper metallic technique, stamped with black Staz-on and embossed with a stylus over a mousepad. Corners were done with Sante Fe punch and top layer wrapped with 6 strands of copper colored embroidery floss. This first one is Therese's Tree of Life. Turned out really nice!

This is Therese's exchange card made with SU's Loads of Love truck.

Here is a card made by new member (and new to stamping, too!) Theresa. I love how she cut out along the edge for a neat border.

Tange made this with Au Chocolat designer paper and the dahlia from Fabulous Flowers.

This was made by our other new member, Rosie, also new to stamping. I love this border punch, the scalloped lacy edge. I think it's Martha Stewart's. I think the shoes and bag were 3-D stickers, but not sure. Under the first flap it says "thanks," and under the second flap it says "merci." Great colors, too.

Even though Pam couldn't make it, she turned in her exchange card (you don't get one if you don't bring one!), Thinking of You with the lady from Summer by the Sea, scalloped square nestie and the dotted Swiss Cuttlebug embossing folder. This lady is one of my favorite SU stamps, retired now.

This is Lona's Treasure using King Tut, embossing and metallic paste rub on.

Even though Jeannie was not there, she turned in her exchange card, a cute little pink baby elephant!

This is Jeannie's project sample, technique described above. Everybody loved the project and some gorgeous cards were made that night.

This is Helen's Love Note, done perfectly with a CB music embossing folder.

This is Genny's sweet puppy wishing for a Valentine. She used a CB embossing folder, too.

This is Elle's Let's bee friends birthday card, made with flower punches and tiny little bee buttons on the center of the flowers.

This is Cheryl's birthday card made with Flower Soft and punches. Cute little lady bugs I think she made with hearts!

I turned in my Valentine card that I blogged below, the one with the red heart and pink flowers down the side.
That's all for this month's stamp club. Will put up some of the pics from Stampfest tomorrow or next day.
Thanks for stopping by!
