CREATIVE IMAGES AUGUST MEETING

Well, it looks like I'll be posting Wednesday's club pictures a little more timely than last time.  Go me! I'm getting more info on a new blog writer, but I haven't got it going yet.  Maybe by next month. Till then, we'll have to deal with fonts and sizes changing at will and centering problems.

Our theme this month was "Country Time" and it was ATC (Artist Trading Cards) swap time. Cami had our project using a technique she learned at Stampfest a couple months ago. If you have any questions about it, ask Cami. They turned out really well.

Our first exchange is Cami's chicks marching over a basket of apples.  The chicken wire at the bottom was a stamp!

Cheryl B did this card with cute pink boots.  If you're a J.D. Robb fan this would put you in mind of Peabody's pink boots given to her by Roarke, much to Eve's disgust!

Ella made this charming water colored fruit truck.  I love the leaf belly!

Gerri, our new member, made this little water colored sunbonnet birthday card.

This is my card taken out of my stash, the closest thing to country I could find. I fussy cut that pheasant a long time ago.

Pam made this moonlit motorcycle card.

Pat R. made these boots for walking (cue Nancy Sinatra!).  She did a technique that made them feel like leather.

Cheryl Baker made this ATC with lots of interest.  Love the shell.

Ella made this ATC with fussy cutting the antique car and adding hardware.

Jeannie made this ATC with die cutting and fish net.

For these three ATC's, Pat J did the hydrangeas, Cami made the blue and white layered one and Pat R made the die cut pumpkin.

These next three are the samples Cami had for the project. Very glittery!

That's it for this month's meeting.  Thanks for stopping by.

I had no problems with centering this time!

July Creative Images Meeting

July Creative Images Meeting

Running behind again this month, but I'm doing my best to get the pictures from the July meeting on here before the August meeting which is tomorrow! Wish me luck!

Our exchange card theme for July was "Anything Goes" and our project was by Pat J. The first card is by Cami, some cute flamingos.

Font changed again and I can't get the centering to quit.  I'm not going to fight it.  Sheesh.

This oriental theme of die cuts is by Cheryl B.

These three ladies are from Ella and the next picture is the inside of the card.  Girlfriends are definitely forever.

Jeannie did this next card, very simple and very un-Jeannie like!

This next bright card is mine!

Pam did this nicely layered card.

This pretty pink flower card is from Pat J's guest, her cousin Shelagh, all the way from England.

This next pretty flower card is Pat J's.

Next is Pat R's pretty birthday card with interesting die cuts.  I like the curvy edge.

This last picture is Pat J's project sample.  Nice layers and sequin embellishments.

That's it for this month.  Hope to be quicker with August's pics. Thanks for stopping by.

CREATIVE IMAGES JUNE MEETING

The theme for our June meeting was "Beach Scene/Summer" and we got some nice cards in our exchange and some nice swaps with a birthday theme. (I'm not going to fight the changes in font size, centering or anything else.) Pat R did the project and it's a cool motorcycle card.

First is Cheryl B's lighthouse with a fussy cut shell and a gull flying by.

Eleanor made this fussy cut seahorse.

Jeannie made this faux postage with suns on it.

This is my crabby card.  Lots of fussy cutting and layering.

Pam made this lighthouse with sunny skies.

This is Pat J's lighthouse done on a transparency.

Pat R made this step card with cute seaside die cuts.

Therese made this hysterical toasting bacon card! Inside says Greetings from Florida.

This is Pat R's project sample. All we had to do was put it together.  The diamond plate embossed on shiny cardstock turned out really well.

We got six nice birthday cards in our swap.  First is Cheryl B's cute cupcake.

This card is Jeannie's with Color Burst inks and black velvet.

This one is mine.

Pam did this woodwork looking card.

Pat J did this rainbow-y background (sponged?) with white embossed flowers.

Pat R made this fold out card.  Here it is open. . .

and closed.

Thanks for stopping by. Comments welcome.

CREATIVE IMAGES MAY MEETING

I've been really behind in getting the club pictures posted, but I always seem to have a good reason for the delay.  I'm still wanting to get a new blog started, keeping all the old posts if possible, but haven't figured it out, yet.  So, I'll just keep struggling with the old blog and at least get the pictures posted.  I fight with centering and fonts and font sizes till I could scream.  Enough with the excuses.

Our theme for the May meeting was "Vellum" and Cheryl B had the project.  Here goes:

First is Cami's turquoise daisy. Font change!

Cheryl B did these die cut butterflies. Can't uncenter it!

Eleanor did this embossed flower on vellum.

Jeannie did this buzzing by card.

I made the sunburst below on vellum and fussy cut the plane.

Pam made this cloudy day card.

Pat J made this Birthday Blooms card with an embossed vellum overlay.

Pat R made this lovely sympathy card.

Here we are on the left again, with Cheryl B's sample.  I took pictures of the pages of a card magazine, but don't feel I can copy them in here due to copyright laws.  If you would like the pictures e-mailed to you, let me know and I'll do that. The card folds up into a circle card held together with brads.
