September Creative Images Meeting, Part One

We had a great turnout last night.  Members who couldn’t even attend sent in their exchange cards (theme of Autumn/Fall) and their challenge projects.  Pam couldn’t attend because of a family wedding in Wisconsin, but she even managed to do the project care of Therese.  Multi-tasking, anyone?  So many brought in or had delivered exchange cards, a whopping 16!, along with eleven ladies (and a gentleman) bringing in their cigar box challenge, that I am dividing this into two posts.  First, the exchange cards.  Once again, some are side by side.  sigh  Click on any pic to see details, then “back” to return.

First is a lovely water colored basket of pumpkins by Therese.

Connie colored this happy doggie in a leaf pile.  I can practically smell the leaves!

Dani made this bright leaf card with some DSP, I think.  The next pic is the inside of Dani’s card.

This is Ella’s nicely water colored pumpkin.

Herman made this lovely card with a wheat pattern and a nice sentiment inside which I forget.

On the left is Holly’s lovely shaded card with a die cut fern.  On the right is Janet’s butterfly with buttons.

Here’s Janice’s colored Fall Fun card.   I got this cute little witch in the exchange.

Jeannie’s Happy Fall card is on the left and my Thanksgiving card with fussy-cut pheasant on the right.  Wow, camera colors are weird.  Ribbon on my card is chocolate chip, not purple!

Linda made this lovely Japanese Maple card.

On the left is Lona’s wheat card with a harvest moon.  On the right is Pam’s center-step cat tails.

Janet brought in Patty’s layered lovely leaves.

Rosie brought this lovely panel card.

Tange made this leaf collage with a great quote by Winston Churchill.

I’ll finish off this post with Pam’s project sample, a center-step card.  Thanks, Pam, for doing this when you had no time to do it!  I rotated this card and saved it right side up, but stupid blogger wants to put it in sideways.  Hmmmm!  Well, I got it off Connie’s e-mail, resized it again and rotated it, again, and blogger still posted it sideways.  It’s a mystery!

That’s it for now.  Thanks for stopping by. Comments always welcome.
