Black Magic!

Thought it was time to post what I've been doing for last couple days. In and amongst cleaning up my stamp room, I had to stamp off a bunch of these Fabulous Flowers images before I sold the set now that it is retired. I can't believe I actually sold it, but I know I can borrow it again. Saw this Black Magic technique on Splitcoast by Tanya Boser. Her instructions are in her tutorials at her blog: here I bought the Pure Color pencils last year before they retired, just so I could make some of these flowers. Added some pearls from my Pretties Kit. Resolved to quit hoarding!

This is a picture I had to share, just on accounta because. My niece had twins a few months ago and here is Samantha with her big brother Blake. I wonder who wore who out first? I think it was mutual! Thanks for stopping by!

Stamp Club Jan. 12, 2009

We had a good meeting last night, but not very many exchange cards were brought in. Good for the treasury, easy night of picture-taking for me. It seems many of us, me included, couldn't come up with a card for the theme of "Ultimate . . ." LOL And what we did come up with, I lost one of the pics or didn't take it or whatever. Sorry, Cheryl. My bad.

First up is a pic of Cheryl's winged snowman. She took the wings we made from Therese's acetate doll project from our stamp camp and put them on a cute little snowman.

This Gator card is Tange's exchange card of the Ultimate Football Team. Being the champions, I guess they are the Ultimate!

This is Pam's Ultimate card, with two kinds of embossing. Ultimate friend?

This is Jeannie's Ultimate embossed card, theme ?

Here is the inside of Chery's Ultimate Martini card. Love the sentiment! Loved the cute martini glass on the front, too, but you'll have to imagine that one as I messed up on that pic. Cheryl also put olives on the envelope!
Helen and I did the project for the January stamp club meeting. We made the medallion made with Becca Feeken's technique. You can find her tutorial at http://www.amazingpapergrace.com/. Made this card with the skaters from SU's Winter Post, the retired wrought iron punch, the Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder, packing tape and glitter.
That's it for this month. Next month's theme is "Stamper's Choice." No excuses next time! LOL
The new catties are here! I'll have them at Helen's workshop on Feb. 7!
