We had a nice turnout Wednesday and everyone brought in an exchange card with our “Angel” theme. Jeannie had been sick, so Tange and Genny brought in proposed stamp camp projects. In a separate post, I will show all of them together to help us vote on what we want to do in January. Jeannie had the project this month showing us how to use Dicrofibers, heat fusible fibers. More info and tutorials are available at www.usartquest.com and www.artcraftcreate.com.
First, I’ll do the Angels. For some reason, it put most of my pics side by side. Will never do that for me when I want to! Sheesh! Click on a pic for details and then back to return. Lots of details to see on all of these.
Therese made this lovely embossed and colored angel on an embossed scalloped oval. She threaded silver ribbon through the scallops and dotted liquid pearls on there, too. Cami made this darling card with three tiny, colored and fussy cut guardian angels on a cloud embossed background.
Ella made this shy angel on a shimmery, mosaic background, lightly colored, and embellished with tulle and jewels. Genny colored this angel fairy and mounted her on some pretty DSP. Genny finished her off with glitter on her wings.
Jeannie embossed and fussy cut this angel and added a feather and some gold bling. I diecut my angel with a Cricut and mounted her on some cloud DSP.
Here’s three totally different cards all done with the same angel stamp! First is Pat J’s, with gorgeous punched poinsettias that I thought were stickers. Next is Pat R’s done on a dryer sheet with some glitter. She needs to teach us how to do that!
And last is Tange’s angel embossed in gold and then layered on blue, red and gold with some bling on the bottom. All three of these turned out really well. You have to click on them to see all the details. Beautiful.
Here is one of Jeannie’s samples of her Dicrofiber project made into a card. Very effective as a background.
Here’s four more samples of Jeannie’s Dicrofiber project using different colors and stamps. Always love to learn something new.
Tange brought in several samples of a proposed project for the stamp camp. Embellished, stamped and beaded charms. Here’s Genny holding one up.
Here’s a few more samples. They all have stamping on at least one side.
Genny brought in her proposed stamp camp project, a tea dispenser box with a dahlia fold flower on top. I think she got the dahlia off Pinterest and the box off Splitcoast.
Last, but not least, here is a little show and tell snowman, nicely cut and layered by Tange.
Looking forward to seeing you all soon for the Christmas party! That’s all for this month. Comments always welcome.
