Eagles! Live Cam!

A few weeks ago, I found out about a live eagle cam in Decorah, Iowa.  I went there in time to see one of the hatched babies and two eggs.  Since then, I’ve checked in almost daily, except for when I was gone last week.  Wow, have they grown since the tiny bits of grey fluff.  The parents even leave them alone for short periods of time, now.

When I clicked on this a.m. to see them all alone, they looked so big and they have feathers starting to come in!  Can’t wait to check out flying lessons.  As I was typing this, both adults are on the nest, with Mom doing maintenance on the nest.  Feeding time!  If you want to see videos from before, go  here on Youtube and pick what you want to watch.

Nice! Geeze!

Well, I got my sister to look at the thank you cards I made for her on my blog (a real step ahead for her, technically-wise) and her response was "nice." "Nice" is kind of damning with faint praise, but at least I didn't spend 3 months and $400 on them like Tracy did for her sister's wedding invitations. Her sister said they were "nice," too. I guess it's a sister thing.

Now it Decides to Work

Maybe now I can put in the picture of card I made four of for my sister in Minn-e-so-ta! Made it with Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip cardstock, Chocolate Chip ink, Ski Slope DSP, Sincere Salutations, Nesties, some of the new Chocolate Chip ribbon and some snowflakes from Snow Swirled and Tapestry (the littler ones). Hope she likes them. She only asked for them a month ago!
